Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of ravemark.co and your purchase of RaveMark products. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to them. Please read the section on review-platform rules — it affects how you're allowed to use the product.

1. Who we are

RaveMark ("we", "us") sells NFC review stands and related products through ravemark.co. You can reach us at support@ravemark.co.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to order from this site. By ordering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you're authorised to use the payment method you provide.

3. Products and descriptions

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Screen colours vary between devices, and product photography and illustrations are representative rather than exact. Dimensions and materials listed on a product page are the specification we hold ourselves to.

The stand contains a passive NFC chip that stores a single web link. It has no battery, no network connection of its own, and it does not collect, store or transmit any information about the people who tap it.

4. Orders, pricing and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — before or after confirmation — if the item is unavailable, if there's an error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, we refund it in full.

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change at any time before you order. Once you've placed an order, the price you paid is fixed for that order. Import duties and taxes are covered in the Shipping Policy.

Obvious pricing errors are not binding on us. If something is listed at a price that is clearly wrong, we'll contact you before charging you and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.

5. Shipping, guarantee and returns

Delivery timing, costs and duties are set out in the Shipping Policy. Our 30-day money-back guarantee and the process for refunds are set out in the Refund Policy. Both form part of these Terms.

6. Using the product with review platforms

This one matters, so it's in plain language.

The stand points a customer's phone at your review page. What you ask those customers to do is your responsibility, and review platforms have rules about it. Broadly, and across every major platform:

• Asking customers for an honest review is allowed.
• Paying for reviews, offering discounts, entries or freebies in exchange for reviews, or writing reviews for your own business is not.
• Filtering who you ask based on how happy they seem — showing the stand only to customers you expect to leave five stars — is known as review gating, and it is not allowed.

You agree to use RaveMark products in line with the terms of whatever review platform you point them at, and with any advertising or consumer-protection law that applies to you. You are solely responsible for the reviews your business receives and for how you solicit them. We are not responsible for any action a review platform takes against your listing.

7. No affiliation with Google

RaveMark works with Google Reviews and Google Business Profile. RaveMark is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google, Google Reviews and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC. Any reference to them on this site is descriptive — it tells you what the product works with, nothing more.

Google may change its products, policies or link formats at any time. We'll adapt where we can, but we don't control those platforms and can't guarantee their behaviour.

8. What we do and don't promise about results

Our guarantee is specific and it is written down: more Google reviews within 30 days, or your money back, on the terms in the Refund Policy. That is the promise, and we stand behind it.

Beyond that, we make no promise about how many reviews you'll receive, what rating they'll carry, how your business will rank in search or maps, or what effect any of it will have on your revenue. Those depend on your business, your customers, and platforms we don't control.

9. Programming and reprogramming the chip

The chip is rewritable, and you're free to reprogram it yourself using third-party NFC apps. If you do, you do so at your own risk: writing an incorrect link, or locking the chip using a third-party app's write-protect feature, is not covered by the guarantee, and we can't undo it remotely. If you're unsure, email us before you write to it.

10. Acceptable use of this site

Don't use this site to break the law, don't try to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, don't scrape or copy it systematically, and don't interfere with its operation or security. We may refuse service or restrict access to anyone who does.

11. Intellectual property

The RaveMark name, logo, site design, product designs, photography and written content are ours or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission. Buying a product does not transfer any of these rights to you.

If you send us feedback, ideas or suggestions, we may use them without obligation or payment to you.

12. Third-party services and links

This site uses third-party services, including a payment processor, a shipping-tracking provider and analytics. They handle your information under their own terms and privacy policies. Where this site links to a third-party website, we're not responsible for its content or practices.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with a product or with this site is limited to the amount you paid for the order the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost business, lost reviews or lost rankings.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Your legal rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or replaces any rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you're buying from. Where that law gives you a stronger right than these Terms do, that law applies.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law applicable at RaveMark's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not remove any protection available to you under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and it does not prevent you from bringing a claim in your local courts where that law gives you the right to.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published here at the moment you place an order is the one that applies to that order. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
